Advanced Variable Geo 2

A suprisingly fun and competent all-girls fighter on Playstation 1. Plays more like an old school Capcom or SNK fighter than you might think just from looking at it. It has a charming 90s anime aesthetic, and very easy gameplay that is very easy to pick up. Has some aspects borrowed from Street Fighter Alpha like air blocking, EX moves, alpha counters, and an easy combo / chain-link system. SNK influences inclue super jumps, some crazy supers, and more. Character designs are all pretty unique looking, but have fair representation of most of the fighting game staples. The soundtrack is actually super catchy, so watch out, you might get hooked.

Highly recommended, and well worth checking out. A good time is gauranteed for all!

Strategy and Movelists

Every traveler needs a map to guide their journey.

• Special moves for each character in a graphical format. Takes the guesswork out of trying new characters.
• Shortened Movelist by AfroShouji a good place to start when you want a litte strategic advice.
• Advanced V.G. 2 – FAQ/Move List by AfroShouji - what I would call the "bible" for this game. Bios, specials, combos, and framedata.
• Advanced V.G. 2 Combos - just the combos in basic text, thanks.
• Shoryuken Wiki (outdated/incomplete) front page has great explanation of systems, but not all character pages are filled out. It's still interesting to look at.
